Manager, Software Engineering - AI Product

• Lead and grow a diverse team of engineers building and advancing Figma's AI capabilities across core products
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, AI Research, and Data Science to define strategy and drive a clear roadmap for AI-powered experiences

• 3+ years of experience hiring, leading, and developing high-performing engineering teams
• Proven experience building and scaling AI-powered product capabilities, ideally in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Demonstrated track record of driving 0*1 product development, with the ability to translate ambiguous ideas into impactful, production-ready features
• Strong ability to build and operate fast-moving teams that balance innovation with execution
• Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging AI technologies and their application to user-facing products, * Knowledge and experience in generative AI, RAG, the fine-tuning process and its application to creative products
• Experience digging into product analytics and data yourself to help create new opportunities or investment areas for your team, Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Figma's compensation and benefits are subject to change and may be modified in the future. Annual Base Salary Range: $258,000-$376,000 USD
