Job description
We are looking for a SAP PTC Windchill Consultant to work for a leader in the consulting industry. We are supporting a client who has already gone through implementation and will help lead the operate function. We need this person to play as the lead of a four person team. You will be in constant communication with business and IT teams related to ticket triage, updates, and enhancements to the system.
In this role you will also be responsible for the following: System Operations & Administration
- Manage daily operations of the Windchill PLM environment including monitoring, uptime, and performance
- Configure and maintain lifecycles, workflows, and data structures
- Perform user access management, security roles, and permissions
- Ensure data integrity, version control, and compliance within PLM
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end users (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain)
- Diagnose system issues and perform root cause analysis for recurring defects
- Manage tickets, defects, and service requests via tools like ServiceNow
- Support incident management, problem management, and SLA adherence
- Apply patches, upgrades, and system updates to maintain performance and security
- Conduct system monitoring, log reviews, and performance tuning
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
- Support configuration changes and minor enhancements aligned to business needs
Requirements
We need this individual to be attentive to detail, willingness to hit ground running and be a go-getter., 6-7 years' experience with SAP PTC Windchill experience
- Experience managing a SAP PTC Windchill operations vs implementation
- Confidence to lead a small team Lead team
- Experience managing enhancements, adjustments, customizations across SAP PTC Windchill
- Excellent oral and written communication
