Application Architect (Frontend Focus)

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect III to join our team supporting Legal & Public Policy. The role will focus on front end architecture, while providing architectural leadership across all application tiers. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise solution architecture, UI frameworks, and Angular and a proven ability to define end-to-end architectures, produce clear design artifacts, and guide engineering teams to secure, scalable outcomes., * Provide architectural guidance for application UI design, libraries, and frameworks with emphasis on Angular.

• Own and define end-to-end solution architecture for complex initiatives, aligning with enterprise standards and controls.
• Translate business objectives and legal workflows into architecture designs covering functional and non-functional requirements.
• Define technology stacks, patterns, and integration approaches across UX, services, data, and automation layers.
• Produce architecture artifacts including context, container, and component diagrams; sequence flows; ADRs; and solution blueprints.
• Lead design and architecture reviews, assess trade-offs, identify risks, and recommend actionable solutions.
• Guide engineering teams to preserve architectural intent without assuming delivery ownership.
• Conduct proofs of concept and technical spikes to validate approaches in a regulated environment.
• Establish reference patterns and reusable components to improve consistency and scalability.

• Hands-on front end architecture and development experience, including UI framework upgrades and migrations.
• Expertise with Angular 18+ and modern UI libraries and tooling.
• Enterprise solution architecture and systems design with object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Experience leading architectural reviews, creating ADRs, and producing high-quality design documentation.
• Proficiency with distributed systems and integration patterns, including synchronous and asynchronous models.
• Ability to conduct POCs and technical evaluations and translate outcomes into actionable patterns and standards.
• Experience collaborating with product, platform, and enterprise architecture teams in regulated environments.
