Job description
- Ensure the stable operation of a complex SAP HCM environment with a focus on Personnel Administration (PA) and Time Management (PT).
- Maintain, monitor, and continuously optimize existing applications and processes.
- Analyze, process, and track incidents while providing 2nd Level Support.
- Perform root cause analysis and develop sustainable solutions.
- Plan and support deployments and the introduction of new functionalities.
- Collaborate closely with internal business departments and colleagues from Development, Quality Assurance, Architecture, and Project Management.
- Work continuously with stakeholders and actively support change and optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to the further development and modernization of existing HR systems.
Requirements
- Experience in SAP HCM, ideally focusing on:
- Time Management (PT), and/or
- Personnel Administration (PA).
- Experience in Application Management and/or 2nd Level Support.
- Good understanding of SAP HCM-related business processes.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence is preferred.
- Technical understanding for analysis and debugging is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Development skills (e.g., ABAP) are not required.
- Strong motivation and willingness to learn, especially in areas such as debugging and emerging technologies.
- Openness to new topics, including the use of AI in operational environments.
- Independent and responsible working style.
- Structured, process-oriented thinking.
- Interest in shaping and improving processes and structures.
- Strong team player who enjoys working in a dynamic environment., * Completed technical or business-related education (technical college, university, university of applied sciences, or equivalent experience).
- At least 4 years of professional experience in the SAP HCM environment with strong knowledge of Personnel Administration (PA) and/or Time Management (PT).
- Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented approach.
- High level of initiative and willingness to learn new topics.
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with various stakeholders.
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken.
