Job description

ERNI in Spain, Cataluña is looking for a data engineer to develop innovative data solutions for the healthcare sector. You will work on a greenfield data platform, utilizing Databricks, PySpark, and Azure technologies to create modern data products and analytical models.

As part of a hybrid work model, you will design end-to-end solutions, collaborate with stakeholders, and help shape the architecture of our projects, ensuring the best practices in data engineering are followed., * Designing, developing and evolving end-to-end data solutions from ingestion to visualization.

  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to translate requirements into dashboards and data products.
  • Contributing to architecture decisions in a greenfield environment.

Can you imagine building a greenfield data platform that enables near real-time analytics in the healthcare sector?

Join our expert team to work on a Healthcare Data Platform, contributing to the design and implementation of scalable end-to-end data solutions. You will apply your knowledge of Databricks, PySpark, SQL and Azure technologies to build modern data pipelines, analytical data models and business-facing data products. The platform combines both near real-time and batch processing, transforming raw data into actionable insights through dashboards, reporting solutions and analytics applications. Responsibilities

You will be responsible for designing, developing and evolving end-to-end data solutions, from ingestion and transformation to analytics and visualization. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into dashboards, reporting solutions and data products that deliver real business value. Additionally, you will contribute to architecture decisions in a greenfield environment and promote best practices in data engineering, observability, governance and delivery., We ask you to be available for key meetings. Need to leave for a doctor's appointment or to pick up your child from school? No problem. We trust you to deliver quality work within your 40-hour workweek. Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office two days a week, though this depends on the project and team.

Requirements

  • Strong experience building cloud-based data solutions, ideally on Azure.
  • Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Spark/PySpark and SQL.
  • Experience designing analytical data models and delivering business-facing data products.
  • Strong experience with dashboards and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and near real-time data processing.
  • Ability to work across the full data lifecycle: ingestion, transformation, modeling and visualization.
