Microsoft 365 Engineer (office-based, Halfweg)

Due to the expansion of our operations, we are strengthening our global IT team. This is a great opportunity to take ownership and make a direct impact at one of the fastest-growing manufacturing scale-ups in the market. Our IT team leads all global IT initiatives across Europe, the US, and Asia.

As a hands-on Microsoft 365 Engineer, you will work on a wide range of modern workplace, identity, security, and device-management projects. You will have the freedom to prioritize initiatives that deliver the most business value.

You enjoy bringing structure to complex challenges, think independently, and are curious about how technology can support our global growth., Configure and maintain Microsoft Intune for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.

• Manage MDM/MAM policies, compliance rules, Autopilot, and secure device onboarding.

• Standardize and automate device deployment and configuration.

· Security & Compliance

• Work with Microsoft Defender XDR (Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, Cloud Apps) to improve threat protection.

• Support ISO 27001 processes through documentation, controls, and technical implementation.

• Contribute to data governance using Microsoft Purview (DLP, sensitivity labels, retention).

· Collaboration & Productivity

• Support Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and related M365 services.

• Troubleshoot issues across the M365 ecosystem and ensure a stable, secure environment.

· Automation & Documentation

• Use PowerShell and Graph API to automate tasks and enforce governance.

• Create clear technical documentation, runbooks, and end-user guides., Our onboarding starts with a warm welcome and an introduction to your team and workspace. In your first week, you'll get familiar with our tools, processes, and company culture. You'll also be assigned a mentor to support you during your first few months. We make sure there's a good balance between training, hands-on learning, and regular check-ins to help you settle in smoothly.

Do you have experience in macOS?, · Prior experience working in a fast-paced global IT environment

· Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to technical and nontechnical users

· An owner's mindset approach to your craft

· Utilize principles of agile development to attain an elevated quality of delivery

· Ability to interface seamlessly with a global, multicultural team (excellent collaboration skills, culturally aware, both internally and with customers)

· Helping a rock-solid scale-up proposition grow explosively

· Team player that can also work independently and unsupervised

Your Experience & Skills

· Hands-on experience with:

· Microsoft 365 administration

· Microsoft Entra ID (Conditional Access, Identity Protection, PIM)

· Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM, Autopilot, compliance)

· Microsoft Defender XDR

· Microsoft Purview (DLP, sensitivity labels, retention)

· Hybrid Active Directory environments

· Experience contributing to ISO 27001 processes (documentation, controls, technical implementation)

· Strong troubleshooting skills across identity, devices, and cloud services

· Experience with PowerShell and automation

· Ability to create clear technical and end-user documentation
