Concurrent Engineering have a position available for a dynamic and driven Software Implementations Project Manager. This exciting opportunity is to work for a PTC Partner and be part of a fast-growing business. This is a hybrid position, our office is in Marston Green, Birmingham (Pinewood Business Park, B37 7HG).
The Software Implementations Project Manager reports to the Professional Services Manager and is responsible for planning, initiating and managing software implementations projects. It will consist of serving as the liaison between clients and technical experts on all project aspects including planning project stages and assessing implications for each stage and monitoring progress to assure deadlines, standards, costs and targets are met, and report on project progress and status.
Your Day-to-Day
- Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of software delivery projects.
- Develop and update projects plans including information such as project objectives, technologies, project management systems, schedules, budget and staffing.
- Manage and track duties, responsibilities and spans of authority of project personnel.
- Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and scope.
- Ensure compliance to project management best practice using methodologies such as PRINCE2.
- Establish and execute a project communication plan.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports by collecting, analysing and summarising information on project progress.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure successful full life-cycle delivery from Sales through to Implementation and Post Go Live Customer Success and Service Desk handover.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Word?, * Proven experience in Software Project Management.
- PRINCE2 certification or equivalent project management qualification.
- Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
- Ability to monitor and assess the performance of yourself and others to make improvements and take independent remedial action.
- Ability to communicate and mange stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and client organisations up to and including board level.
- Strong interpersonal skills and sound decision-making ability.
- High integrity and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Adaptable, open to change, and comfortable in dynamic environments.
- Customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Right to work in the UK.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
