Job description
The .Net Application Developer is responsible for the development of internal and external-facing products built on Microsoft's .Net Framework. This position will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications using .NET Framework, Razor, MVC, Node.js, and React.js. Key technologies you will work with include PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases, as well as containerization. The role will work heavily with and on our Conductor platform which helps our client manage their supplies and business risk. This role requires onsite work from our Greensboro N.C. office (hybrid)., * Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using .NET Framework, Razor, MVC, Node.js, and React.js
- Develop and maintain database schema and queries using PostgreSQL and SQL Server
- Optimize database queries and performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing
- Perform unit, integration, and systems testing components using testing frameworks and tools
- Develop and maintain containerization using Kubernetes, ensuring efficient deployment and scaling of applications
- Collaborate with QA team and Support team to identify and resolve roadblocks
- Ensure the overall security of systems, protecting client data and reporting potential security risks
- Enforce corporate security policies and standards
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * A four-year college degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 4-6+ years of experience in software development with a focus on web application development
- Strong experience with latest .NET Framework 9.0 or above, Razor, MVC, Node.js, and React.js
- Strong experience using C# and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, patterns, and practices
- Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases
- Experience with containerization using Kubernetes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices
Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- Experience in microservices architecture
- Experience with security best practices and compliance frameworks
- Experience with AI tools and Agentic AI
