Job description

  • Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET
  • Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications
  • Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
  • Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
  • Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
  • Create technical specifications and test plans
  • Strong understanding of application interfaces and their architecture (API)

Requirements

Familiarity with:

  • Drupal
  • Dynamics 365
  • Power Apps (including Power BI and Flow)
  • Practical application of the Agile Methodology
  • Practical application of DevOps platforms
  • Knowledge of Web Services, RESTful APIs

Knowledge of:

  • Must have experience in UI Development, Web design, Web Development, Maintain applications and testing web pages with usability standards.
  • Good communication skills, strong work ethics & attitude, can work independently.
  • Solid design and programming with computer science-related problem-solving skills.
  • Must have strong experience in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Java Web Service Layers, JavaScript frameworks React, Redux, Angular - preference is for React
  • Good knowledge of writing client-side restful APIs.
  • Ability to write unit tests using Jasmine or equivalent.
  • Strong background in delivering enterprise-level applications.

Skills in:

  • Experience with source code control and software configuration management tools
  • Experience with relational database design and administration
  • Experience with JS libraries, HTML5, XSLT, and CSS
  • Experience developing in a continuous integration environment using source code control, automated testing, and build automation
  • Experience with agile development practices
