Job description
As part of this effort, they are looking to hire up to three experienced Project Managers with proven backgrounds leading ERP transformation initiatives - specifically migrations from legacy ERP systems to SAP.
This assignment is expected to run through July 2028, with the first go-live scheduled for November 2027 and a second go-live planned for May 2028.
Travel: If not based locally in Denver, the consultant will be required to travel to Denver every other week, Monday through Thursday.
To augment their project management team, the client is seeking dedicated Project Managers with domain expertise in at least one of the following areas:
Logistics - Transportation Management (TM) and 3PL
Logistics - Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) / Warehouse Management
Source-to-Pay / Ariba (procurement, both direct and indirect; Ariba experience strongly preferred)
These Project Managers will
Bring hands-on experience leading ERP transformations, particularly SAP S/4HANA implementations.
Drive delivery across their respective functional workstreams.
Partner with business process owners to define user stories and gather requirements.
During delivery, support oversight of the Systems Integrator (SI), including management of offshore resources to ensure deliverables are met.
Facilitate issue resolution by organizing review sessions, documenting risks and issues, and driving them to closure.
Track and manage action items, ensure adherence to key milestones, and translate workstream activities into clear, actionable project plans.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, the SI, and the client's technical teams.
The role will primarily operate within Mountain Time Zone hours, though occasional early morning or evening meetings may be required to accommodate stakeholders in EMEA and APAC.
DUTIES
- Partner with the program teams and the leadership teams, technology teams and system integrator representing Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
- Help lead 4 in a box functional teams (function workstream, IT and SI) throughout program milestones and deliverables.
- Ensure thoughtful People, Change and Learning partnering with our Organizational Change Management Lead for training and organizational readiness.
- Facilitate testing (SIT, UAT), training, and change management activities related to operations and manufacturing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure global alignment and buy-in across the organization.
- Interface with all levels of management to provide strategic and tactical advice on project planning execution, change management and keep leadership well informed.
- Tracks status and metrics on the project delivery and value; escalates to functional management upon identification of deviations (or potential deviations) from plan and budget.
- Monitors program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Resolves and/or escalates program-related issues in a timely fashion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and experience of program management in an IT setting or equivalent experience.
- SAP experience, including at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation in the Operations/Manufacturing domain.
- Experience with discrete or process manufacturing environments is desired.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills.
SKILLS
- Knowledge of MDG, EWM, IBP, or Ariba integration is a bonus.
- Exceptional leadership abilities and working with cross functional teams
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate project and program objectives to internal and external teams including clear, timely communication to stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capability to analyze complex data

This is a Contract position based out of Lakewood, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr.
