Job description
- Utilizing studies and analyses, specifically a strong background in mission-level modeling and simulation, the analyst will make recommendations regarding the military utility, feasibility, joint warfighter impacts of the concepts and capabilities under study
- Ability to coordinate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives
- The analyst will work as part of a contractor team working alongside a broader team of government and contract staff
Requirements
Qualified candidates should be adept at effectively organizing and executing analytic studies within a team of analysts containing skills spanning a range of disciplines. Experience and familiarity with the space domain and the Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration and Modeling (AFSIM) is required., * Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, or an Engineering discipline
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience conducting modeling, simulation, and analyses with AFSIM
- High motivation, creativity, and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze data
- An active TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Master's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, or an Engineering discipline
- Experience with more highly aggregated, campaign-level and/or defense enterprise-level analysis tools
- Experience in DoD space and joint force programs
- Experience with Python, OptDef, MATLAB, R, SAS, JMP, and/or Java
- Experience with data transformations and data visualization
- Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and MySQL or other relational databases
- Experience with BI Tools
- Experience with Excel VBA
Benefits & conditions
- For Colorado only, the salary range for this position is approximately $130,000 - $140,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Other Compensation:
