Skill / Role: VMWare L2, Relevant Experience: 3+yrs in VMware, Qualification: Bachelors / Masters / Equivalent
Key Skills Required:
Ø Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written) Ø Good documentation skills. Experience with vmware Vsphere 5.5 / 6.0 / 6.5 hypervisor products. Ø Should have an excellent customer handling skills Ø VMWare Infrastructure Administration and management with vRealize and VxRail knowledge Ø Installations for security patches, functional patches and version upgrades Ø Performance tuning of ESX server. Document support processes Ø Interact with Service desk supervision team for Verification of solutions. Maintain Compliance with Corporate Security Policies. Ø Security Policies: Work together with the security team, identify the server venerability issues and resolving them Ø Responsible for restoration of data. VMware ESX (from version 2.5 to the latest release) Ø Proficient on VMware technologies like: -VMware High-Availability, Vmotion, DRS, Ø Proficient on all hardware handling HP / Dell / UCS Ø Scripting basic knowledge (Power shell / python / Ansible) Ø Provide 2nd level systems support Ø Proficient in DR activity Ø VCP, (Essential), ITIL (Would be added advantage)
