Job description
The Analyst Programmer is responsible for programming, testing, and maintaining batch systems to meet client requirements and provide ongoing technology support. The role works closely with internal and global teams to deliver stable, high-quality batch solutions and ensure smooth post-implementation operations., * Program, test, and maintain batch systems aligned with client and regulatory requirements

Independently manage batch delivery and client interactions

Create detailed analysis and test plans for simple to medium complexity projects

Perform system analysis and translate client requirements into technical specifications

Conduct unit and integration testing of assigned programs

Troubleshoot and resolve advanced programming errors and system defects

Support production jobs and ensure timely resolution of failed batches

Review analysis documentation and validate configuration and test results
Requirements
-
Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and SAS programming (or JCL / DB2)

Deep SAS programming skills with advanced functions

Advanced DB2 relational database and data modeling knowledge

Strong understanding of batch processing, data flows, and data stores

Advanced debugging and problem-solving skills

Mainframe / JCL knowledge
Domain & Experience
-
3.5 - 6 years of experience in SAS and SQL

Health or Retirement domain experience preferred

Prior experience with Alight, Aon, or Wipro is an added advantage
Education
-
B.Tech / B.E (IT, CSE, ECE)
