Job description

  • Develops iOS, Android, and Windows Mobile Apps using Microsoft Technologies. Uses C#/.Net, Xamarin, Microsoft SQL Server, Windows CE, SQLite, XCode technologies.
  • Creates sound design and architecture of the applications and projects in hand. Uses graphical modeling techniques such as Sequence Diagram, Class diagram, Database Diagrams, and Use cases. Comes up with Technical requirement documents based on business/product requirements.
  • Creates and executes unit-test cases.
  • Uses code profiling tools such as Jet Brains Dot Trace.
  • Provides Level-3 support to the Operations and Product Management team.
  • Develops database centric applications such as those for OLAP and BI reporting using tools such as SSRS, SSAS, and SSIS.
  • Brings best practices in mobile development in the areas of screen design and navigation, security, logging, exception handling, state management, caching, etc. Uses .Net Enterprise Libraries.
  • Evolves mobile applications that can be scaled from volume and performance perspective.
  • Manages all team's deliverables using Project Management techniques including planning, estimating, tracking and oversight, quality management, risk management, and communication management.
  • Guides and mentors team members on the coding and SDLC best practices.
  • Recruits, builds, and nurtures high performance team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • College degree with major in science, technology, or related field.
  • 6+ years' experience of developing user centric applications using Microsoft Stack, specifically .Net/C#, SQL Server
  • 2+ years' experience in analysis and design of high performance, n-tier applications.
  • 2+ years' experience with XML / Webservices, SOAP or Restful.
  • 2+ years' experience with UI development and integration based on HTML, CSS, JS.
  • 2+ years' experience developing Android or iOS apps.
  • 2+ years' experience managing and mentoring a team, both from technical and HR perspective.
  • Experience with Xamarin and Xcode a plus.
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile SDLC and related artifacts.
  • Ability to work with business partners and understanding their focus areas and key functionality within the applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
