WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Create and modify UI components using industry standard libraries
  • Review and test team-contributed updates to the frameworks
  • Support developers implementing components in applications
  • Support deployment of UI frameworks during monthly releases

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years building with frameworks - one or more of lit-Element, Polymer, jQuery, Angular, React, Vue, ember
  • 3-5 years writing templates - one or more of lit-html, Polymer, Handlebars, JSX
  • Object-oriented and modular development
  • Coding for performance - async, lazy loading, etc.
  • Familiarity with architectural patterns - MVC or MVVM
  • Writes high quality, semantic, testable, maintainable, and well documented code
  • Experience working with 3rd party frameworks or tools - Kendo, PrimeNG, jQuery-UI
  • Back-end experience - Java, php, ASP.Net
  • Database experience - MySQL, Mongo, Oracle, SQL Server
  • Familiar with Scrum and Agile methodology
  • Practical understanding of continuous integration & continuous deployment (CI/CD) process, tools (Jenkins/Gitlab CI), and best practice
