Position Overview: ZenPoint Solutions is seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer to support a federal law enforcement agency's enterprise software modernization initiative. In this role, you will be responsible for developing capable, high-quality back-end code. This position sits within a team providing software engineering support, ensuring applications meet operational and service requirements.
This position is contingent upon the successful award of a government contract and subsequent government approval., * Application Development: Develop and maintain web applications using the .NET framework, specifically utilizing ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework.
- Code Quality: Write clean, scalable, and efficient code that complies with established coding standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary scrum teams to define, design, and implement technical software requirements.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and debug applications using Visual Studio and cloud environments (AWS).
Requirements
Do you have experience in Video conferencing systems operation?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Clearance Requirement: None required at the time of application, though Public Trust or higher is preferred. Candidates must be eligible to receive and maintain a Public Trust., * Candidate must be a United States Citizen and present proof of Citizenship, if selected
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Professional Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical thinking, strong problem-solving capabilities, and proactive time management.
- Software Competency: Proficiency in standard Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project, Visio, and Outlook.
- Virtual Collaboration: Experience preparing and facilitating virtual technical meetings and presentations using tools like MS Teams., * Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
- Cloud Experience: Practical development experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) architectures.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as AWS Certifications or CompTIA Security+.
