I like the variety of challenges that still exist after more than 10 years of working on UCS. I like seeing both the product and the technologies and processes evolve for the better. I like seeing how Univention manages to successfully balance the spectrum of customer and market requirements and bridge the gap between long-term stability requirements from the customer side and new technological challenges on the other side.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Conceptual design, development and maintenance of the product UCS or UCS@school with your team

• There are different areas of responsibility:

• Redesign of our role and rights model

• Integration of apps into our Univention App Center

• Release planning and deployment of new versions

• Improvement of product performance and creation of specialized performance test environments

• Bugfixing in different areas of our product with e. g. Python or Shell/Bash

• Test automation with Jenkins etc.

• Several years of valuable experience in development projects with Python in Linux environments
• Extensive knowledge of Linux, Python, Bash, REST API, microservices, CI/CD, Git and GitLab
• You are eager to take responsibility and have proven that several times before
• Experience working in agile teams and with agile development processes
• Self-reliance, reliability, fun with teamwork
• A structured approach to analyzing problems
• Fluency in English

• Salary range: €55,000-€79,000
