IT Software Configuration Management Architect

The IT division supports information management, infrastructure and key business processes across ASML. The ICT infrastructure, hardware and applications are absolutely mission-critical for almost all ASML's internal and external activities. Job Mission Guard and guide the architecture of the ASML Software Configuration Management (SCM) environment, in co-operation with the internal customer and IT stakeholders., o Play a major role in defining short/mid/long term SCM environment roadmap o Define improvement proposals that focus on system performance and process efficiency for end-users. o Stay in contact and aligned with major tool suppliers, to discuss their product roadmaps. o Strong partner in discussions with SEI domain architects and other stakeholders within the internal customer departments. o Keep abreast with relevant literature, means and methods. o Manage SCM competence team, For ICT infrastructure, hardware and applications are absolutely mission-critical for almost all ASML's internal and external activities. A sub-department within the IT organization is Engineering IT Services; this department is responsible for the infrastructure and tooling for ASML's development organization. Within IT EIS three development disciplines are represented: mechanical, electrical and software engineering. The SCM Solution Architect will be active in the software engineering group.

At least Bachelor level or equivalent. Experience o More than 5 years of relevant experience. o Thorough understanding and practical experience with: o Creating and presenting high level architectural designs o Creating and presenting long term roadmaps o SCM tooling like subversion, GIT or ClearCase o Software development process (C or C++ preferred) o Modelling languages (e.g. Archimate) o Linux operating system o Steer/coach people Personal skills o Shows initiative and problem solving attitude o Pragmatic, practical, flexible and committed to quality o Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language o Ability to comprehend large complex environment, Education Backgrounds: Electrical Engineering Software Engineering Specialties: Database Hardware Design Software Architecture Software Design Education Level: Undergraduate (Bachelors) Experience: 5 - 10 Years Languages spoken: English Job Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands
