Job description
We're a small, established IT services company in Southgate looking for a curious, hands-on person to join our team and grow with us. You'll work across a genuinely wide range of technologies and clients, from finance and legal firms to education, hospitality and government, supporting their day-to-day IT, troubleshooting issues, configuring equipment and keeping things running smoothly. You'll gain real-world experience across Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, networking, cybersecurity, device management and remote support, with modern automation and AI tooling built into how we work every day. No two days are the same, and you'll learn fast because you'll be doing the real thing from week one. WHY JOIN US
- We invest in people for the long term.
- Skip the commute. A proper IT career in North London without the daily trek into the City. Great if you're local to Enfield, Barnet or the surrounding areas.
- Small team, big variety. You'll see everything an IT business does, and your ideas will actually be heard.
- Modern stack. We actively use automation and AI tools across our work, and we want someone excited to learn and experiment with what's current, not just maintain what's old.
Requirements
- A genuine interest in technology and problem-solving, with curiosity about where it's heading
- Someone who tinkers, builds, automates or self-teaches, whether that's home labs, scripting, prototyping with online tools or exploring new tech
- Basic understanding of desktop hardware and Windows environments
- Strong communication and customer service skills; you'll be presentable and comfortable visiting client sites and meeting people face to face
- Logical, methodical troubleshooting ability
- Self-motivated, reliable and eager to learn by doing
- Any hands-on experience (personal or professional) is a bonus; an IT qualification or certification is a plus but not required
- A driving licence and car are useful for occasional site visits
- You don't need years of experience. Attitude, curiosity and a hunger to learn matter far more to us than a long CV.
Benefits & conditions
- £24,000 to £27,000 dependent on experience
- Annual pay reviews to keep salaries competitive
- Office based in Southgate while you train, then hybrid working
- Structured training and career development from an experienced team
- Company pension
- Exposure to a wide range of technologies, industries and clients
