Job description

  • Support cloud and infrastructure services in Azure and on-prem environments
  • Assist in resolving incidents and service requests escalated from the Service Desk
  • Collaborate with engineers and project teams to maintain secure and resilient systems
  • Monitor systems to ensure performance, availability, and compliance with SLAs
  • Update and maintain support documentation and technical runbooks
  • Support the transition of new systems from project teams into BAU
  • Occasionally assist with hands-on physical infrastructure tasks (e.g., hardware swaps)

Requirements

  • Valid SC Clearance
  • Exposure to Microsoft Azure, particularly IaaS and Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments (2012 R2 - 2022)
  • Good understanding of Active Directory and core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, GPO)
  • Familiarity with Office 365 administration and setup
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Interest in or some experience with Terraform or Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Some scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus

We are looking to recruit an SC Cleared Azure Cloud Engineer for our leading IT Consultancy. Our position is fully remote with minimal travel requirements. The salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 plus benefits.
