Job description

Cisco is seeking an experienced AI Project Manager to lead enterprise-scale AI initiatives across engineering, product, security, and business teams. The ideal candidate will drive planning, execution, and delivery of AI/ML programs while ensuring alignment with business goals, security standards, and technical roadmaps., * Lead end-to-end execution of AI and Generative AI programs.

  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, dependencies, and risks.
  • Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, Security, UX, and Operations teams.
  • Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and program governance.
  • Track milestones and deliverables using Jira, Confluence, and project management tools.
  • Establish AI PMO processes, reporting frameworks, and portfolio dashboards.
  • Coordinate AI model deployments and enterprise AI adoption initiatives.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Present executive-level status reports and business updates.
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and responsible AI standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of Project/Program Management experience.
  • 3+ years managing AI/ML, Automation, Data Science, or Digital Transformation projects.
  • Strong experience leading cross-functional global teams.
  • Expertise in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with:
  • Generative AI
  • Machine Learning lifecycle
  • LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini)
  • AI Automation Platforms
  • Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, and Power BI., * PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe certifications.
  • Experience in enterprise software development.
  • Knowledge of MLOps and AI Governance.
  • Understanding of AI security, compliance, and privacy frameworks.
  • Experience managing large-scale AI transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Cisco technologies, networking, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise software products.
