QA Tester

We are seeking an experienced QA Tester with strong Automation and Governance experience to join a dynamic team in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality through comprehensive testing strategies, automation frameworks, governance compliance, and quality assurance best practices., * Design and execute manual and automated test cases.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks.
• Establish and enforce QA governance standards and testing best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners.
• Track defects through resolution and ensure high-quality releases.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare quality metrics, dashboards, and governance reports.
• Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• 7+ years of Quality Assurance and Software Testing experience.
• Strong experience in Test Automation using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, UFT, or similar.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
• Expertise in QA Governance, Test Management, and Quality Processes.
• Experience creating test plans, test strategies, test cases, and traceability matrices.
• Hands-on experience with API Testing (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
• Strong SQL skills for backend/database validation.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
• Experience using defect management and test management tools such as Jira, ALM, Zephyr, or qTest.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., * Banking or Financial Services domain experience.
• Experience with Governance, Risk, Compliance (GRC), or audit-related QA processes.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Automation certifications or QA certifications are a plus.
