Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sr. Director of Digital Platform Engineering to own the technical vision, development, and scalability of our global digital presence. This executive will lead front-end, back-end engineering teams, and architecture functions, ensuring our web platforms are a world-class, high-performance, and secure for customer acquisition and engagement. This leader will also execute on the Marketing end to end AI workflow technologies that enable effective and efficient execution of marketing activities across the enterprise. A critical focus of this role is leveraging artificial intelligence and comprehensive automation to drive unparalleled speed, personalization, and operational efficiency across the entire web ecosystem. This leader will optimize the website technologies, the website experience and own delivery of the technical digital roadmap.

Your Impact

  • Define the technical roadmap and serve as the ultimate owner for all customer-facing web technology, including architecture, development stacks, and integration strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Design, implement, and enforce a highly scalable, resilient, and performant web architecture capable of handling exponential global traffic growth and achieving best-in-class Core Web Vitals.
  • Drive the integration of Machine Learning (ML) models and Generative AI to automate critical functions, including real-time content personalization, dynamic UI element generation, and predictive performance tuning.
  • Provide executive oversight and technical direction for the implementation, customization, and strategic utilization of AEM/AEP.
  • Work closely with the Adtech team to assure seamless user tracking across the ad experience to the web and through to pipeline and revenue.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing global organization of full-stack engineers, front-end specialists, and platform architects, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and engineering excellence.
  • Employ agile scrum methodology to assure product intake processes, prioritization and delivery.
  • Optimize the website code, perform content and website clean up and assure a lean and effective information architecture.
  • Collaborate with IT and other functional teams as needed to deliver the best experience for our customers.
  • Own roll out of marketing effectiveness and efficiency tools such as AI enhanced workflows.
  • Champion a "code-first" approach to platform management, maximizing automation across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Establish stringent Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and data governance frameworks, ensuring 24/7 operational stability, security, compliance, and zero-downtime deployments.
  • Cross-Functional Technical Alignment: Partner closely with Marketing, Product Management, and Data Science organizations to translate business goals into technical requirements, ensuring seamless feature delivery and data exchange between systems.
  • Integrate Design systems, dynamic web experiences, personalization and connect the unknown user to the known.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in AdTech, MarTech, or Digital Marketing roles, with a minimum of 5 years leading a technical team.
  • Deep technical fluency in leveraging AI/ML, Generative AI, and predictive modeling for Demonstrated experience architecting and implementing a comprehensive Customer Data Platform (CDP) or building a robust first-party data activation strategy from the ground up.
  • Expert-level knowledge of technical integrations across the MarTech stack, including DSPs, Ad Servers, CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), and internal data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Expert in the GMP, Google marketing platform inclusive of SA360, DV360, CM and hooks into the systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of web technologies and Adobe suite.
  • Experience with WorkFront, campaign workflow tools.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business objectives into detailed technical requirements and user stories (PRDs) and manage a full development backlog for internal engineering teams.
  • Exceptional program management and product delivery skills, utilizing agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to drive large-scale, complex cross-functional technical projects.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of global data privacy and compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and their real-world impact on web tracking and data usage.
  • Technical expertise with tag management systems (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Adobe tag manager), web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), and server-side tracking implementation.
  • Serve as a strategic driver in Digital Marketing's end to end vision for AI powered automation and building a cutting edge marketing workflow engine.

Benefits & conditions

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
