GCP Cloud/Pyspark/Openshift Engineer

• Build and maintain data pipelines using Airflow, Kafka, Spark, and PySpark.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases and S3-compatible storage systems.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale containerized applications using GKE.
• Write Python/PySpark scripts to support automation, data processing, and ETL workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues across cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and containerized workloads.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security, performance, and governance standards.

• Hands-on experience with GCP, Airflow, Kafka, PostgreSQL, S3, Spark and GKE.
• Strong background in Python/PySpark development within GCP environments.
• Familiarity with OpenShift, Terraform, and Kubernetes (nice to have).
• Experience in banking or financial services environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with core GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC, Cloud Composer, and Pub/Sub.
• Expertise in building and maintaining distributed data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Solid understanding of container orchestration and cloud-native application deployment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in agile, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Range*: $60 - $65 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
