Job description

We are seeking a SAP Operations Domain Expert to act as the primary business owner for all Operations 360 data products on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), spanning manufacturing, supply chain, EHS, logistics, and asset management. The ideal candidate will translate operational requirements from plant-floor, supply-chain, and warehouse systems into data specifications for the canonical Operations models, validate source field mappings across the operational source landscape, define cross-system business rules during SAP / PeopleSoft coexistence, and review and approve data-quality rules, operational KPIs, and UAT sign-off. This role combines deep operations / SCM functional knowledge with strong hands-on BigQuery and SQL skills. Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary business owner for all Operations 360 data products across manufacturing, supply chain, EHS, logistics, and asset management.

  • Translate operational requirements from plant-floor, supply-chain, and warehouse systems into data specifications for the canonical Operations models.

  • Validate source field mappings from SAP MM/PP, PeopleSoft (PS), Maximo EAM, MES, Koerber WMS, and McLeod TMS to canonical targets.

  • Define business rules for inventory reconciliation, production-order matching, and BOM hierarchy across SAP and PeopleSoft during coexistence.

  • Review and approve DQ rule outputs, operational KPIs (OEE, downtime, SIOP targets), and UAT sign-off for all Operations data products.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of PeopleSoft SCM (inventory, procurement, production) and SAP MM / PP / EWM module structures and transaction codes.

  • Familiarity with Maximo EAM asset and maintenance schemas, MES event-log structures, and Koerber WMS warehouse data models.

  • Understanding of manufacturing KPIs: OEE, production rate, scrap, SIOP targets, and the demand-planning cycle.

  • Ability to define cross-system deduplication rules, inventory coexistence precedence, and cutover validation criteria for Operations.

  • Experience supporting factory system migrations, plant-level UAT, and EHS regulatory data sign-off processes.

  • Strong expertise in BigQuery and SQL, with skills in data modeling, performance analysis, and KPI reporting.

  • 10+ years in SAP MM / PP / EWM or PeopleSoft SCM functional or operations data roles within enterprise manufacturing / supply-chain environments. Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP MM / PP / EWM certification or an equivalent PeopleSoft SCM credential.

  • Hands-on exposure to Maximo EAM, MES, Koerber WMS, and / or McLeod TMS implementations.

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform data platforms and BI tooling such as Looker Studio; prior data lake / DaaP delivery exposure.
