Job description
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Middleware Administrator with IIS to manage, support, and optimize mission-critical middleware platforms across enterprise environments. This role is responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, performance tuning, security, and high availability of middleware technologies including IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, Microsoft IIS, Apache, and related platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in middleware administration, production support, automation, security, and enterprise application hosting environments, working closely with application, infrastructure, database, cloud, and security teams., * Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain enterprise middleware platforms
- Administer IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS/ND), Oracle WebLogic, Microsoft IIS, Apache, and related technologies
- Manage clusters, load balancing, high availability configurations, and application deployments
- Support SSL/TLS certificates, Single Sign-On (SSO), LDAP, Active Directory, and authentication mechanisms
- Configure and administer WebSphere DMGR, Node Agents, Clusters, IBM HTTP Server, and application deployments using wsadmin
- Manage WebLogic domains, clusters, managed servers, JDBC, JMS resources, and Node Manager
- Configure and support IIS servers, application pools, URL Rewrite, Application Request Routing (ARR), reverse proxies, and .NET applications
- Monitor platform health, perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive alert management
- Implement security standards, vulnerability remediation, compliance controls, and operational best practices
- Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Shell scripting, Python, Ansible, and related tools
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation initiatives
- Provide L2/L3 production support, incident management, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, cloud, and security teams to support enterprise applications
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 8+ years of enterprise middleware administration experience
- 5+ years of experience administering IBM WebSphere and Oracle WebLogic environments
- 3+ years of experience supporting Microsoft IIS
- Strong Linux and Windows Server administration experience
- Experience with SSL/TLS, LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, and enterprise authentication solutions
- Experience working with load balancers such as F5 and Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, scalability, and high-availability experience
- Experience supporting mission-critical production environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, WildFly, or NGINX
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOA, BPM, ESB, IBM MQ, Kafka, MuleSoft, and API Gateway administration
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability tools including Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Relevant certifications in WebSphere, WebLogic, Microsoft, Red Hat, AWS, or Azure technologies
