Job description

In testing and quality assurance at PwC, you will focus on the process of evaluating a system or software application to identify any defects, errors, or gaps in its functionality. Working in this area, you will execute various test cases and scenarios to validate that the system meets the specified requirements and performs as expected.

The Opportunity

As part of the Managed Services team you will maintain the integrity and quality of data through advanced testing and validation processes. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, mentor junior team members, and build meaningful client relationships while navigating the intricacies of data management. This role offers the chance to deepen your technical knowledge and enhance your personal brand in a dynamic environment focused on delivering client solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

  • At least 8 years of experience

What Sets You Apart

  • Certification(s) preferred: DAMA Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), AWS Certified Data Engineer - Associate, SnowPro Core, ISTQB Test Analyst / Certified Big Data Tester (ATA), Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or equivalent ETL tool certification
  • Demonstrating advanced SQL skills for data validation
  • Utilizing Python for test automation and data validation
  • Understanding enterprise data concepts and governance
  • Demonstrating experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
  • Demonstrating a foundation in data modeling, including database schemas, normalization, and relational design
  • Demonstrating hands-on ETL testing experience, including AWS Glue job development, orchestration, and end-to-end data pipeline validation
  • Utilizing data ingestion and orchestration tools such as Qlik, Airflow, or Prefect
  • Understanding of industry standards for data and QA

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
