Job description
We are looking for a high-caliber professional ready to take full ownership of a complex environment, ensuring that the digital backbone of the organization is not only resilient and secure but also optimized for the next generation of enterprise growth., * Architect and govern a robust hybrid ecosystem, integrating Azure IaaS components-including virtualized networking, storage, and compute-with existing physical infrastructure.
- Engineer comprehensive disaster recovery protocols and business continuity frameworks to guarantee data integrity and rapid restoration of mission-critical services.
- Orchestrate virtualization environments utilizing VMware or Hyper-V, while streamlining identity management through Azure AD and sophisticated Group Policy structures.
- Fortify system defenses by executing rigorous server hardening, proactive vulnerability patching, and stringent access control audits to exceed compliance standards.
- Maximize uptime through advanced performance monitoring, capacity forecasting, and preemptive resource scaling across the global environment.
- Resolve complex technical bottlenecks as the final escalation point for the support tier, conducting deep-dive root cause analyses to prevent recurring incidents.
- Synthesize network reliability by managing DNS, DHCP, and VPN tunnels, ensuring seamless connectivity across diverse hybrid segments.
- Champion continuous improvement by authoring high-level technical runbooks and identifying strategic cost-saving opportunities within cloud consumption.
Requirements
- Extensive Expertise: A minimum of 7 years in the IT sector, with at least 5 years dedicated to managing Windows Server environments and Microsoft Azure IaaS.
- Cloud Mastery: Proven success in configuring and securing Azure virtual networks, VMs, and cloud storage solutions.
- Identity & Virtualization: Deep-seated knowledge of Active Directory/Azure AD synchronization and enterprise virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Security Mindset: A background in hardening systems within compliance-heavy industries and a disciplined approach to vulnerability remediation.
- Automation Skills: High proficiency in PowerShell scripting to automate repetitive tasks and standardize infrastructure deployments.
- Networking Fundamentals: A thorough grasp of routing, firewalls, and core services like DNS and DHCP within a hybrid context.
- Proactive Problem Solving: A track record of independent operation and decisive action in high-pressure, fast-moving environments.
