Job description
- You support and lead the operational model change from PowerBI to Looker.
- You will configure and maintain dashboards and visualisations in Looker, translating complex business needs into actionable KPIs. You will train users on how to best exploit the platform.
- You will design and implement data marts, applying best development practices (version control, testing).
- You will build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines (Airbyte), ensuring seamless data ingestion into BigQuery (SQL tables and flat files).
- You will monitor the health of the data platform, resolve quality issues and implement data governance as well as access controls dictated by the group strategy.
- You will maintain and document data origins, ensuring that Looker remains a "single source of truth" for the organisation.
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in computer science, data or equivalent
- 3 to 7 years of experience in Data Engineering or BI
- Proficiency in SQL and good knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of modern data architectures (data warehouse, data lake, data vault, medallion architecture)
- Mastery of data analytics platforms
- Experience with pipeline orchestration tools for transformation
- English level minimum C1
Technical skills
- Design of ETL / ELT pipelines
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience with data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks )
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse / Data Lake architectures
- BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or equivalent) appreciated
- Versioning with Git and CI/CD practices, * Analytical mind and attention to detail
