Tasks

• Oversee installation and maintenance of high-performance scanners.
• Ensure stable operation of scanning infrastructure for clients.
• Conduct troubleshooting and on-site support for scanning solutions., * Responsibility for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of high-performance scanner solutions (e.g. Scamax, Opex, IBML)
• Ensuring stable and smooth operation of the scanning infrastructure
• Performing maintenance, fault analysis, and troubleshooting directly on site at the customer
• Connecting and integrating scanner solutions into existing IT systems, networks, and specialised applications
• Advising customers on optimal integration and further development of scanning processes
• Developing, parameterising, and continuously optimising scanning software and workflows
• Setting up and maintaining scanning profiles, output formats, and data mappings (e.g. XML)
• Performing software updates, patch management, and ongoing system maintenance
• Analysing and resolving faults throughout the scanning process and coordinating with manufacturers
• Conducting functional and integration tests and ensuring system quality
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation as well as system and inventory overviews
• Identifying and implementing optimisation potentials within the system landscape

• Completed IT education or relevant degree in computer science.
• Proficient in software development and scripting languages.
• Experience with XML, SQL databases, and network technologies., * Completed training in IT (e.g. IT apprenticeship EFZ, IT Supporter) or studies in computer science/system technology (HF/FH) or equivalent
• Good knowledge of software development or scripting (e.g. .NET/C#, PowerShell, Python or VBScript)
• Experience with XML, SQL databases, as well as Windows environments and network technologies
• Initial experience in technical support or operation of hardware solutions, ideally in scanning or document environments
• Analytical thinking as well as structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
• High service orientation and enjoyment in working with customers and internal interfaces
• Flexibility and willingness to work within Switzerland (driving licence category B required)
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
• Knowledge of DMS/ECM systems, imaging software (e.g. ABBYY) or workflow automation is an advantage
• A clean criminal record and debt enforcement register extract are required
