Ruby on Rails Backend Developer

• Design and develop new features for Ruby on Rails applications.
• Build and maintain robust backend services and REST APIs.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex PostgreSQL queries.
• Develop and support internal tools using Hotwire, Turbo, and Stimulus.
• Refactor and improve existing codebases to enhance performance and maintainability.
• Support the migration of legacy Python components into the Ruby ecosystem.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL optimization.
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Hotwire, Turbo, and Stimulus.
• Understanding of clean, maintainable, and scalable software development practices.
• Fluent German language skills (C1 level).
