You will play a key role in designing and building the entire data ecosystem from scratch - from ingestion and streaming to data modeling, analytics, and visualization. This is not a purely backend role. We are looking for someone with a product mindset applied to data, capable of transforming raw data into meaningful dashboards, reporting applications, and analytical products that create real business impact. You will work in an event-driven, near real-time architecture. What you will do - Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines and data products. - Develop ingestion and transformation workflows using Python, Spark (PySpark), and SQL. - Build and evolve analytics-oriented data models for business consumption. - Design and implement dashboards and reporting solutions, focusing on usability and business value. - Work in event-driven and near real-time architectures, leveraging Solace-based messaging. - Integrate data from APIs, streaming devices, and cloud systems. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data products and visual analytics solutions. - Ensure data quality, observability, governance, and reliability across the full data lifecycle. - Contribute to architecture design decisions in a greenfield environment. - Work closely with platform and cloud teams on Azure-based infrastructure. - Promote best practices in data engineering, analytics, and visualization delivery. What we are looking for - Strong experience as Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer, with end-to-end delivery ownership. - Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Spark/PySpark, and SQL. - Solid experience in Microsoft Azure cloud environments (ADF, Data Lake, Synapse, or similar). - Experience building data pipelines in greenfield or highly evolving environments. - Experience with event-driven / streaming architectures (Solace or similar). - Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse, Databricks Lakehouse, etc.). - Ability to build business-oriented analytics products (dashboards, semantic layers, reporting systems). - Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar). - Strong SQL skills (data modeling, transformations, performance tuning). - Ability to work across the full stack: ingestion * transformation * modeling * visualization. - Fluent in English. Soft skills & mindset We are looking for professionals with: - Strong ownership and autonomy in end-to-end delivery. - Ability to thrive in greenfield and ambiguous environments. - Strong product mindset applied to data (not just pipelines). - High technical maturity and pragmatic problem-solving approach. - Strong communication skills to translate business needs into data solutions. - Humility and honesty, with the ability to acknowledge knowledge gaps while learning fast and building trust across teams.
