The Role

The Director of Information Systems will lead the strategy, architecture, and execution of the organization's IT and systems landscape. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic vision, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with business growth.

You will oversee information security, IT operations, Salesforce ecosystem strategy, and enterprise systems, while driving modernization initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation., Technology Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute a forward-looking IT and digital transformation strategy
• Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on technology investments and innovation
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve scalability, efficiency, and data-driven decision making

Systems & Platform Ownership

• Own and evolve the organization's Salesforce ecosystem, including roadmap, enhancements, and integrations
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into modern, scalable system solutions
• Drive the adoption of cloud-based technologies and automation tools

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

• Design and implement robust security frameworks, policies, and controls
• Identify vulnerabilities and proactively strengthen the organization's security posture
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA or similar frameworks)
• Monitor emerging threats and implement cutting-edge security solutions and best practices

Data & Innovation

• Champion a data-first culture, advancing reporting, analytics, and dashboarding capabilities
• Explore and implement emerging technologies to enhance operational impact
• Build systems that enable better insights, client outcomes, and organizational performance

Team & Vendor Leadership

• Lead and grow a high-performing IT and systems team
• Manage external vendors and strategic partners across infrastructure, compliance, and applications
• Foster a collaborative, innovative, and solutions-oriented team culture

• 5-8+ years of progressive experience in IT, systems, or technology leadership roles
• Proven success leading technology strategy in a growth-oriented environment
• Experience managing and developing technical teams

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience with Salesforce (administration, architecture, or platform ownership)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Office 365 ecosystem)
• Experience with data systems, databases (SQL), and reporting tools
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance environments
