Job description
This role is ideal for a senior MSP engineer who wants to stay hands-on while taking ownership of Microsoft-focused migrations, cloud modernization, infrastructure upgrades, and client-facing project work. You will work across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Azure, migrations, rollouts, and hybrid environments while helping build repeatable standards for a growing managed services practice., * Deliver Microsoft-focused infrastructure projects across managed client environments
- Lead migrations, rollouts, upgrades, and modernization initiatives from planning through handoff
- Work across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Azure, cloud services, and hybrid infrastructure
- Assess client environments and recommend practical improvements around performance, reliability, and security
- Support project scoping, documentation, implementation, and client communication
- Partner with internal teams to improve standards, repeatable processes, and project delivery
- Provide senior-level technical guidance during migrations, escalations, and infrastructure changes
- Help clients modernize environments while improving scalability, consistency, and long-term supportability
Requirements
- Experience working for a Managed Service Provider
- Senior-level experience as a System Administrator, Systems Engineer, Project Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer
- Strong Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Azure, and hybrid infrastructure experience
- Experience leading migrations, rollouts, upgrades, and infrastructure modernization projects
- Ability to scope, implement, document, and hand off technical solutions
- Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to explain technical recommendations clearly
- Experience working across SMB or mid-market client environments
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and project ownership skills
