Job description

  • Execute test cases for new and existing medical device software products.
  • Design, develop, and maintain manual test procedures for complex software systems and components.
  • Analyze test results and ensure compliance with product requirements and specifications.
  • Document testing activities, findings, and traceability to system and subsystem requirements.
  • Participate in software verification and validation efforts within a regulated environment.
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot test environments, fixtures, and test articles.
  • Collaborate with software, systems, and quality engineers to identify, document, and resolve issues.
  • Participate in technical reviews and support project documentation activities.
  • Escalate testing issues and risks to senior engineers and management as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with test case execution and reporting.
  • Experience designing and developing manual tests for complex software systems and components.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in the medical device industry.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Experience with medical device software development and testing.
  • Understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks; Selenium WebDriver is a plus.
  • Experience working with virtual environments such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Experience testing embedded Linux-based systems.
  • Familiarity with IIS, ASP.NET, Web Services, Windows Services, and SQL.
  • Experience with Windows Server administration, deployment, configuration, and log analysis.
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences
