Job description
- Execute test cases for new and existing medical device software products.
- Design, develop, and maintain manual test procedures for complex software systems and components.
- Analyze test results and ensure compliance with product requirements and specifications.
- Document testing activities, findings, and traceability to system and subsystem requirements.
- Participate in software verification and validation efforts within a regulated environment.
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot test environments, fixtures, and test articles.
- Collaborate with software, systems, and quality engineers to identify, document, and resolve issues.
- Participate in technical reviews and support project documentation activities.
- Escalate testing issues and risks to senior engineers and management as appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience with test case execution and reporting.
- Experience designing and developing manual tests for complex software systems and components.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications & Preferred Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in the medical device industry.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Experience with medical device software development and testing.
- Understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks; Selenium WebDriver is a plus.
- Experience working with virtual environments such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Experience testing embedded Linux-based systems.
- Familiarity with IIS, ASP.NET, Web Services, Windows Services, and SQL.
- Experience with Windows Server administration, deployment, configuration, and log analysis.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare, or life sciences
