Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced MDM/RDM Architect to join a leading healthcare payer organization and play a critical role in shaping enterprise data management strategy, architecture, and governance initiatives.

This is a hybrid position based in Newtown Square, PA, requiring onsite presence three days per week. Candidates must be comfortable collaborating closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, and data management teams in a highly visible architecture role.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Master Data Management (MDM), Enterprise Reference Data Management (ERDM/RDM), Informatica technologies, Azure Data Platforms, and healthcare payer data domains including provider, member, claims, and eligibility data., * Architect enterprise-scale MDM and RDM solutions supporting healthcare payer operations.

  • Design and enhance data integration frameworks across on-premises and Azure cloud environments.
  • Lead architecture and design sessions for Enterprise Information Management (EIM) initiatives.
  • Define data movement strategies utilizing Informatica, ETL technologies, SQL platforms, and Azure Data Lake.
  • Drive provider and member data remediation, enrichment, reconciliation, and quality initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise data management standards, governance processes, and architectural best practices.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders to define future-state data architectures.
  • Serve as a technical SME for data quality, master data, reference data, provider reporting, and regulatory reporting initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic solutions to improve enterprise data capabilities.
  • Provide architectural guidance and escalation support for complex data management challenges.

Requirements

Candidates must be able to work onsite 3 days per week. Local candidates or those willing to relocate will be strongly preferred., * 12+ years of experience in Data Management, Data Architecture, MDM, RDM, or Enterprise Information Management.

  • Strong Healthcare Payer domain experience is required.
  • Hands-on experience with Informatica MDM, Informatica Multi-Domain MDM, Informatica IDQ, or Informatica SaaS MDM.
  • Strong expertise with ETL platforms, SQL development, and data integration architectures.
  • Experience working with Azure Cloud, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake, and Databricks.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data domains including:
  • Claims
  • Member/Eligibility
  • Provider
  • Pharmacy
  • Regulatory Reporting
  • Experience with enterprise data governance, data quality, and data stewardship initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, data architecture methodologies, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills., * TOGAF certification
  • Informatica certifications
  • Experience supporting Medicare, Medicaid, or Government Healthcare Programs
  • Experience with DataStage, SAS DMA, Tableau, or related enterprise data technologies
