Job description

  • Build high?throughput APIs and microservices using Java (Spring Boot, Reactor)
  • Collaborate with product, architecture, and SRE teams to evolve Vision Next/VisionPLUS services
  • Architect resilient, secure, observable applications using AWS services (ECS, Lambda, RDS)
  • Write efficient algorithms for transaction routing, settlement, reconciliation, fraud detection
  • Contribute to system design sessions and architecture decisions (scalability, consistency, partitioning)
  • Optimize throughput, concurrency handling, and API lifecycle management across multi?region clusters
  • Implement DevOps/CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline)
  • Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive engineering excellence

Requirements

We are seeking experienced AppOps Engineers with strong expertise in application support, operations, DevOps, backend development (Python/Java), and payments domain. The role involves building APIs, evolving Vision Next/VisionPLUS services, and architecting cloud?native, resilient applications on AWS., * 7+ years backend engineering in payments/fintech/high?transaction systems

  • Strong proficiency in Java/Spring Boot, data structures, algorithms, system design
  • Solid understanding of AWS core services and distributed architectures
  • Experience with multi?region, active?active architectures for payments/settlement systems
  • Deep debugging, profiling, and performance optimization in distributed environments
  • Strong analytical reasoning and problem?solving mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise in Python programming for backend development and automation
  • Experience with Vision Next/VisionPLUS modules (CMS, ASM, TRAMS) or card processor platforms
  • Familiarity with payment rails (Visa, Mastercard, RTP, ACH)
  • Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, Aerospike for event?driven processing/caching
  • Exposure to ECS, EKS, Kubernetes, observability tools (Grafana, Datadog, OpenTelemetry)
  • Understanding of PCI?DSS, encryption, regulated financial data operations
