Job description

The Client is seeking an experienced IT Applications Project Manager to lead and manage multiple software development and IT application projects from initiation through completion. The selected candidate will oversee project planning, execution, governance, documentation, and stakeholder communication while ensuring adherence to established project management standards and best practices., This role requires a highly organized project leader with strong experience managing software and IT application projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. The Project Manager must be capable of handling multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision while ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and stakeholder alignment., * Lead multiple IT application and software development projects simultaneously.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project or Project Online.
  • Coordinate with project managers, business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
  • Manage project governance, status reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Facilitate project meetings, Agile ceremonies, kickoffs, and stakeholder communications.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and project performance metrics.
  • Review and interpret contractual documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain project dashboards, roadmaps, documentation, and meeting notes.
  • Create project charters, presentations, process documentation, and status reports.
  • Identify project risks, constraints, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure effective communication channels and escalation procedures are in place.
  • Support engineering and development teams operating within Agile frameworks while maintaining Waterfall governance and reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in software development or IT applications.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Project or Project Online for project scheduling and tracking.
  • Experience managing project timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience reviewing contractual documents and translating scope, milestones, deliverables, and compliance requirements into actionable project plans., * Experience working in hybrid Waterfall/Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent Project Management certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
