Job description
We are seeking an IT Operations Support Analyst to support manufacturing operations through the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of IT infrastructure, applications, and end-user technologies. This role works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure reliable operation of manufacturing systems, support process improvement initiatives, and contribute to technology deployments across the facility.
The ideal candidate will provide hands-on technical support, assist with incident resolution, maintain infrastructure and applications, and support both legacy and emerging technologies within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for IT applications, infrastructure, operating systems, and end-user productivity tools.

Support a multi-shift manufacturing operation, including flexible hours and occasional weekend support as needed.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting manufacturing systems and plant operations.

Coordinate with IT teams and business stakeholders to prioritize improvement initiatives.

Support incident management activities, including triage, escalation support, and business continuity efforts.

Assist with the integration and long-term maintenance of applications and hardware.

Support local network infrastructure within a Cisco-based environment.

Support physical and virtual server environments across Windows and Linux platforms.

Assist with workload management and assigned IT support activities.

Develop, maintain, and share accurate technical support documentation.

Support deployment and expansion of industrial and connected technology solutions, including mobile and IoT-enabled devices.
Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.

Experience with Windows Server administration (2016 or later) and/or Linux administration.

Familiarity with Cisco routers and switches, including basic staging, troubleshooting, and cable installation.

Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory/ADFS.

Experience supporting virtual server environments using vSphere.
-
Experience supporting Android and iOS devices, including smartphones and tablets.

Experience with Microsoft 365.
-
Experience with SharePoint.

Experience supporting Windows PCs, printers, and office automation technologies.

Experience with handheld scanners and imaging devices.
-
Ability and willingness to learn software-defined networking technologies and troubleshooting practices.

Ability to work onsite with flexible scheduling to support a multi-shift operation.
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree.

Experience with manufacturing or plant-floor automation systems, including control systems or PLCs.

Experience with PowerShell scripting.

Experience supporting manufacturing environments.

Strong technical troubleshooting and customer support skills.

Experience with IT operations and operations support systems.
