Job description
We are seeking an IT Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and supporting analytics needs. The ideal candidate will work with Databricks and Microsoft Fabric to build and optimize data models, datasets, and dataflows that support reporting and analytics initiatives., * Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
- Build and optimize data models, datasets, and dataflows to support reporting and analytics needs.
- Develop and publish Power BI dashboards and reports to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Write clean, efficient Python and SQL code for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions in a Kanban-based agile framework.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across pipelines and reports.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Document data workflows, pipeline logic, and report specifications.
Requirements
Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Experience: 0-3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or a related technical role is required.
Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, including notebooks, workflows, and Delta Lake.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and pipeline development.
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization, including DAX and Power Query.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or a willingness to learn.
Additional Skills:
- Communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
