Job description
Insight Global is looking for a Help Desk Support Service Specialist to support one of our large federal clients on a long-term DoD contract. This person will need to possess a TS/SCI DoD clearance and work in person on customer site. Hourly compensation ranges from $28.79/hr - 33.36/hr. Job duties include but are not limited to:
-Under general supervision, provides second-tier support to end- users for PC, server, mainframe applications and hardware.
-Handles problem that the first-tier of help desk support is unable to resolve. May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
-Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
-Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
-Maintains currency and high level of technical skill in field of expertise. Escalates more complex problems to Senior Level.
Requirements
TS/SCI clearance (willing / able to obtain polygraph)
-BA/BS degree with 5+ years of experience or Associates degree with 7+ years of experience
-Security + certification
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Computing Environment Cloud Practitioner Certification (Can take course following start; 3 day course)
-Previous experience at NGIC
