Job description
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Developer in San Antonio, TX.
Key Tasks:
- Creates unit tests to ensure accuracy; Track record of identifying largest risk areas and driving resolution of these issues; Provide accurate and timely input regarding status of technical tasks
- Ensure project goals make sense and overall development objectives are being met
- Design and develop high quality, scalable and efficient solutions and products on schedule
- Mentors lesser tenured developers within the team
Requirements
- Experience with API development, CI/CD pipeline and tools, and container and cloud-based deployments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
- Demonstrated use of multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Golang) and understanding of UI frameworks
- Familiarity with DevOps Automation Tools: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, Git, Ansible
- Continuous learning mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting and return to service operations
- Dedicated support for Test/Production Environments while adhering to security policies, procedures and controls; Must be able to independently address container vulnerabilities, cert rotations, and manage day-to-day production maintenance support activities
- Must have led parts of implementation for least 1 or 2 large sized projects
- Programs technically medium to highly complex solutions based on business requirements
- Tools: VSCODE/IntelliJ, Git, Azure

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
