Engineer and develop database solutions supporting enterprise applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity

Design, build, evaluate, and administer database management systems; optimize data flow, storage, indexing, and collection processes

Analyze system requirements, data sources, and process workflows to guide database architecture and implementation

Provide IATT and ATO support for new and enhanced database capabilities, and deliver ongoing ATO support to existing solutions as part of workload sharing

Collaborate with monitoring teams to integrate database infrastructure visibility into enterprise monitoring tools

Implement processes and systems to consolidate, merge, and analyze diverse structured and unstructured datasets

Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows to ingest and transform data from multiple sources

Assess and recommend tools, technologies, and approaches for database, pipeline, and analytics optimization
-
Partner with stakeholders to transform data requirements into automated processes, integrating algorithms and models where needed

Deliver Tier 3 database support through established escalation pathways

Provide Tier 2 system administration support when requested to improve workload efficiency and resource utilization

Experience:
10 + years of related experience, + Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph

Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, or 12+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degree

Meet DoD 8140 Information Assurance Workforce certification requirements (e.g. Security+ CE)

Hands-on experience developing, administering, and optimizing enterprise databases and data pipelines

Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, structured/unstructured data handling, and database performance tuning

Experience supporting IATT/ATO activities and maintaining compliance of database systems

Familiarity with enterprise monitoring integration and database observability practices

Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and support operations teams at Tier 3
-
Strong communication, documentation, and cross team collaboration skills
-
US citizenship required
Benefits & conditions
The likely salary range for this position is $147,292 - $199,278. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
