Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Data Gathering Support Analyst to support our client located in Camp Springs, MD. The Data Gathering Support Analyst will support digital forensics and incident response efforts, assisting with eDiscovery, FOIA, and service request data collection while working closely with a federal forensics team.

Responsibilities of the Data Gathering Support Analyst include:

· Support data collection efforts for eDiscovery, FOIA, and Request for Service cases

· Utilize forensic tools to acquire, process, and analyze digital evidence

· Perform network and system data analysis to support investigative activities

· Assist with incident response efforts using enterprise security tools

· Conduct basic reverse engineering and debugging analysis when required

· Collaborate with cybersecurity and forensics teams to ensure accurate data handling, Digital Forensics, eDiscovery, FOIA, Incident Response, EnCase, FTK, AXIOM, Splunk, Wireshark, FireEye, Exabeam, Stealthwatch, Microsoft ATA, Reverse Engineering, IDA Pro, WinDbg, OllyDbg, Immunity Debugger, Cybersecurity Analyst, Linux, TCP/IP, TS Clearance, TS/SCI, Camp Springs MD, Data Collection, Network Analysis

Requirements

· Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI

· Ability to work onsite 3 days per week in Camp Spring, MD

· 2+ years of experience with forensic tools (EnCase, FTK, AXIOM, or similar)

· 3+ years of experience with security tools (FireEye, Microsoft ATA, Splunk, Exabeam, Stealthwatch, Wireshark)

· 1+ year of experience with debugging tools (OllyDbg, WinDbg, Immunity Debugger)

· 1+ year of experience with disassembly tools such as IDA Pro

· 1+ year of hands-on experience in reverse engineering and programming concepts

· Basic experience with Linux/UNIX command line, TCP/IP, and networking fundamentals

· Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience in digital forensics/tools

· Two or more certifications such as GIAC (GCIA, GCFA, GCFE, GNFA, GCCC, GREM), IACIS (CFCE, CIFR), EnCE, or equivalent

Benefits & conditions

· Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000 based on experience
