Job description
We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer with professional experience in Java and ReactJS to support mission-critical software systems. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, integrating secure backend services with dynamic front-end interfaces. This position requires supporting the modernization of a large-scale logistics and sustainment management tool by migrating legacy components to a loosely coupled microservices architecture., * Develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React.
- Support the migration of legacy Java Server Faces (JSF) applications to a modern, React-based front-end and microservices architecture.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring secure communication between front-end and back-end components.
- Analyze existing JSF code to isolate business logic and transition it to a new API layer.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, systems engineers, and database administrators to implement software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, integration testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the technology stack to ensure application reliability and performance.
- Ensure all development adheres to strict compliance and vulnerability standards.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in both Java and React.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, RESTful API design, and secure web application development.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an aerospace or defense environment.
- Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with modern frameworks such as Redux or Next.js.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines and secure coding practices.
- Experience integrating APIs with identity management systems (OAuth2, SAML).

- This role operates in a hybrid model, requiring at least one day per week on-site in Andover, MA.
- The team consists of several other Java developers and a growing React development capability.
