Job description

We are seeking a talented C# Full Stack Developer with a proven track record in developing scalable, high-performance applications within the Microsoft technology stack. In this role, you will collaborate with an agile team to design, build, and maintain platforms that adapt to the fast-paced growth of our business. Your expertise will drive the delivery of innovative solutions, ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with evolving business needs.

As part of the Private Wealth Front Office Technology team, you will play a key role in supporting Neuberger's Private Wealth business, focusing on enhancing the advisor and portfolio manager experience through cutting-edge technology., * Develop and maintain both in-house applications as well as integrations with third-party platforms using a mix of homegrown platforms and industry-standard technologies

  • Work with partners in Business and Operations teams to understand and document requirements, and develop technical specs and designs
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to established coding standards and best practices
  • Actively participate in the full SDLC, including coordination and support of testing and deployment
  • Take ownership of not only developing new code but also addressing escalated production issues and participating in ongoing infrastructure initiatives such as upgrades and migrations
  • Manage competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects with strong organizational discipline
  • Collaborate effectively across the team and broader technology organization, contributing to and leading technical discussions and design reviews
  • Actively identify opportunities for improvement and optimizations across our platforms
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate prototyping, feature development, and test generation
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers, supporting their growth and code quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline - or equivalent practical experience
  • 4-8 years of hands-on C# development experience, preferably in private wealth, wealth management, or financial services
  • Deep proficiency in .NET/C# (including .NET 6+) and Microsoft SQL Server - required
  • Hands-on experience with the Angular framework - required
  • Hands-on experience integrating with SOAP and/or REST-based services using XML/JSON - required
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision or assistance to complete tasks
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment - required
  • Experience with Charles River OMS is a plus
  • Experience with Azure (DevOps, App Services, or similar), Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
  • Understanding of the Private Wealth asset management industry is a plus
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates an ownership mindset and accountability for the quality and impact of your work

Location/ In Office Requirement:

This position will be based in our New York office.

This is a Hybrid work schedule, with a mandatory requirement of a minimum 2 days in office, which is subject to change at Neuberger's discretion., Applicants must be authorized and have the right to work in the country where the role is located without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this role is $110,000-$150,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement, life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
