Job description

Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Design, build, and maintain enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions across multiple departments
  • Own and govern the organization's business intelligence environment, including reporting standards and data integrity
  • Develop executive-level KPI dashboards and management reporting packages
  • Standardize metrics, reporting definitions, and performance measurement frameworks across the organization
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and scalability as the company grows

Finance & FP&A Partnership

  • Partner closely with Finance and FP&A teams on monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Support executive reporting, board materials, and strategic planning initiatives
  • Develop financial and operational reporting that improves visibility into business performance
  • Assist with identifying trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis

Customer, Marketing & Commercial Analytics

  • Develop customer acquisition, retention, cohort, and lifetime value analyses
  • Measure marketing effectiveness and campaign performance
  • Build reporting related to customer behavior, engagement, and purchasing trends
  • Support commercial decision-making through advanced analytical insights

Operations & Performance Analytics

  • Create operational reporting and performance dashboards for field and corporate leadership
  • Analyze utilization, productivity, retention, staffing, and operational efficiency metrics
  • Develop performance scorecards and recurring business review reporting
  • Support operational leaders with ad hoc analysis and decision support

Data Management & Process Improvement

  • Write and optimize SQL queries against a modern data warehouse environment
  • Partner with data engineering and technology teams to improve data quality and reporting infrastructure
  • Consolidate legacy reporting tools and improve governance across the analytics environment
  • Identify opportunities for automation and reporting efficiency improvements, * Newly created, highly visible role reporting to the CFO
  • Opportunity to build and own the organization's analytics strategy and reporting environment
  • Broad exposure across finance, operations, marketing, commercial, and executive leadership teams
  • Significant influence on business decision-making and performance measurement

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive business intelligence, analytics, or data management experience
  • Deep expertise with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms
  • Strong SQL development and query optimization skills
  • Experience building dashboards and analytics from enterprise data warehouses
  • Proven partnership with Finance or FP&A organizations
  • Experience supporting executive leadership with business performance reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills including modeling and complex data analysis
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations

Benefits & conditions

Compensation | Base Salary: Up to $140,000 (Flexibility for exceptional candidates)

The organization operates a large multi-location service business while simultaneously expanding into new consumer products, wellness offerings, and direct-to-consumer channels. As the business continues to evolve, leadership is making significant investments in data infrastructure, reporting capabilities, and business intelligence tools to support faster and more informed decision-making across the organization. The Opportunity This is a newly created role reporting directly to the CFO and serving as the organization's lead business intelligence and analytics professional. The company has recently built a modern data warehouse and is looking for someone to transform that foundation into actionable dashboards, reporting, analytics, and business insights that drive performance across the enterprise. This position will have visibility across Finance, Operations, Marketing, Retail, Product, Customer Experience, and Executive Leadership, making it one of the most impactful analytical roles within the organization.
