Job description
The individual in this role will create, update, and maintain master data systems and configuration tools to support the implementation and management of product structures, variants, and Bills of Material (BOMs) throughout the order-to-cash process. This role will modify, adapt, and implement short- and long-term information technology solutions through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems, and application infrastructure to support master data management and configuration processes.
Responsibilities include ERP data cleanup, maintenance of master data attributes and BOM structures, review of system requirements and business processes, testing, debugging, validation, implementation of software solutions, procedure updates, development of new processes, user training, and support of system and configuration changes., * Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance requirements are met while serving as the process owner for configuration-related processes.
- Execute small process improvement and technology projects to add, correct, update, and maintain required production, regulatory, and master data attributes that support business operations and the order-to-cash process.
- Maintain accurate configuration logic for item master data, product structures, and configuration questionnaires for existing and new configurable products.
- Generate and maintain accurate and consistent Bills of Material (BOMs) while updating configuration logic and business rules to support global operations.
- Generate and maintain supporting data such as routings, unique product identifiers, regulatory attributes, and related master data required for manufacturing and business processes.
- Analyze, define, and develop documentation control methodologies to support configuration management processes.
- Coordinate with master data management teams to establish and maintain configuration records within enterprise systems.
- Execute testing protocols for IT projects related to configuration management and master data.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
This is a highly specialized individual contributor role that requires deep expertise and technical leadership within a specific professional discipline. The position typically requires significant experience in a specialized field along with an advanced degree or equivalent experience., * Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Systems, Information Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a business environment., * Experience implementing and configuring ERP systems.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Experience with process improvement and lean methodologies.
