- Troubleshoot software problems including Microsoft Office applications, enterprise tools like ServiceNow, Jira, SCCM, and BMC Remedy.
- Manage computer hardware setups, upgrades, and maintenance for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Assist with computer networking tasks such as configuring VPNs, firewalls, DNS settings, TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN troubleshooting, and network administration.
- Support Active Directory management including user account creation/deletion and Group Policy Object (GPO) configurations to enforce security policies.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure components like Microsoft Windows Server environments and Meraki network devices.
- Utilize analysis skills to diagnose complex issues involving TCP connections, DNS resolution problems, or network outages; document solutions thoroughly.
- Collaborate with team members using tools like ServiceNow and Jira to track incidents, manage requests, and ensure timely resolution of support tickets.
- Assist in the deployment of updates via SCCM or other management tools while ensuring minimal disruption to users.
- Support the setup and maintenance of mobile devices and help optimize overall system performance for end-users.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * Proven experience providing technical support in a fast-paced environment with strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge of software troubleshooting across multiple operating systems including Windows (especially Windows Server), macOS, and Linux.
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and their maintenance or replacement procedures.
- Hands-on experience managing computer networks including VPNs, firewalls (e.g., Meraki), DNS configuration, TCP/IP protocols, LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with Active Directory management and Group Policy Object (GPO) configuration.
- Experience supporting enterprise tools such as SCCM for software deployment and BMC Remedy or ServiceNow for incident management.
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Ability to analyze complex problems quickly using diagnostic tools and logical reasoning.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including Microsoft Windows Server environments and network administration fundamentals.
- Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems like Jira or ServiceNow is preferred.
