The Software Engineer, Platform is responsible for building and maintaining backend services that support payments, analytics, subscriptions, text-to-speech functionality, and external APIs. This role contributes to creating scalable and efficient backend architectures that enhance user experience and align with product strategies. - Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, including public text-to-speech and internal services for payment, subscription, authentication, and tracking

Manage and optimize the backend API ecosystem for performance and scalability

Collaborate on B2B solutions focusing on enterprise client customization and integration

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure backend architecture supports overall product goals and user experience
Requirements

Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript and Node.js

Experience with Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with other cloud providers such as AWS or Azure

Ability to efficiently prioritize and implement tasks based on impact and urgency

Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments

Preferred: Experience deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes

- Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- The United States Based Salary range for this role is: 140,000-200,000 USD per year plus bonus and stock, depending on experience
